 THE DIRECTOR - Vicki Smith Despite studying speach and drama for a number of years, Vicki had no desire to get on to the stage until a friend asked her to be part of the chorus in a production of Calamity Jane in a coutry town in WA. Two weeks before the opening, one of the leads had to pull out and Vicki was asked to take over and ended up singing, dancing and acting her way to a new hobby. Thirty years and countless productions later, she has become a well known identity on the Melbourne community theatre scene and is currently the Secretary for the VictorianDrama League. Favourite roles in stage include Margo in The Wisdom Of Eve, Les Marquise de Merteuil in Les Liasons Dangereuse, Cleopatra in Antony and Cleopatra, Rita in Educating Rita and various roles in the Laramie Project. Directing credits include The Death and The Maiden, Proof, Three Tall Women, Life After George, The Rise and Fall of Little Voice and Doubt. She is delighted to have been given the opportunity to direct with SwampFox Productions and to bring this terrific Australian drama to the stage.
RON KOFLER - Martin An ex-muso, Ron switched from music to acting some 15 years ago and has never looked back. He has loved working with many of Melbourne's finest companies and actors and his favourite roles include playing 9 characters in The Laramie Project both for Brighton TC and then Act-O-Matic 3000 with whom it won the 2005 Green Room award for Best Production (Fringe/Independent). Other memorable roles include Michael in Sweet Road (Peridot), George in Same Time Next Year (Brighton) and Dougie in Below (SwampFox Productions inagural play). Another challenging role was playing Joseph Mengele in an independent feature film The Mighty And The Condemned. Ron's other loves include filmmaking and songwriting, scriptwriting and pretty much anything ending in 'ing'.
FIONA BECHTOLD - Sally Fiona has worked in both film and on TV as well as on stage. Stage roles have included Doris in Same Time Next Year, Aileen in Midden, Kristen in The Glass Mermaid, Chris in Dancing at Lughnasa and Kate in Kelly's Reign. Fiona is currently the Performing Arts Co-ordinator at Sandringham College and as well as having a Batchelor of Performing Arts and a Diploma of Education, she has studied at the Actor's Playhouse in Melbourne and the Actors Corps and the William Alderson Studio, both in Hollywood.
